Letter from sending church, Calvary Baptist Church, Ava, MO - Pastor Richard Rhoades

Dear Pastor,

As a Pastor for several years myself, I have received many calls and letters from missionaries. I am also fully aware of just how busy the ministry can be, so I will be brief.

I would like to recommend to you the Roughton family as missionaries to Alaska. They joined our church in the spring of 1997 and it has been my privilege to be their pastor for these years and watch them mature in the Lord.

Brother Roughton has successfully completed our three year Bible Institute program and was then sent out of our church to assist in the starting of a new work in a nearby town where he ministered for a year and a half. For the past two years he has served with me here as the Associate Pastor of our Church. Through the years he has proved himself to be a man of character, faithfulness, loyalty and devotion both to the Lord and to me.

I can assure you that any money invested in this family will not be wasted and ask that you would prayerfully consider making them a part of your missions family.
